Sadly My Wife - MILLIE- Passed away 29 Dec 09. She fought as much as she could but lost in the end. She was a Wonderful Wife and Mother. I will miss her so so much. She was everything to me! I love you Mill. XXX

Millie's Aneurysim Repair

Millie had her stents installed on Oct 1st - Almost 3 months she's been in Hospital -
but she's doing a bit better now. She suffered a Minor Heart Attack and a Spinal
Stroke during the procedure (which took 13 1/2 hours).

She's strong so I think she'll pull thru' OK.
Once she can walk again and gets her eating back up to par.

The staff at Manchester Royal Hospital have all been great.

How do I get rid of the "Blue Screen" (of death)

Is there a Tech Person out there who can help me get rid of a Blue Screen on my laptop?

It happened a couple of weeks ago, my Son had just installed an update for Vista which was an Automatic download thru' Microsoft, and after the installation a Blue Screen appeared saying "Windows has found a problem and has shut down so as not to cause further problems (or words to that affect).

Anyway my Son Joe (he has built a few Desktop computers and knows how to do that pretty good) but he can't fix this Blue Screen problem other than to replace the Hard Drive and reinstall the Operating software - (which he has done) and he was/is going to try to get my Files and Data off of the old Hard Drive by useing another computer (his) and a different operating system.

My Question is: Does anyone know how to get rid of this Blue Screen any other way??

and then I'll get a phone bill with calls to Jamaica, Uganda, Singapore and
Uzbekistan.

I can't use anyone's toilet but mine because a big brown African spider is
lurking under the seat to cause me instant death when it bites my bum.

I can't even pick up the £5.00 I found dropped in the car park because it
probably was placed there by a sex molester waiting underneath my car to
grab my leg.

If you don't send this email to at least 144,000 people in the next 70
minutes, a large dove with diarrhoea will pooh on your head at 4:00pm
tomorrow afternoon and fleas from 12 camels will infest your back, causing
you to grow a hairy hump.

I know this because it actually happened to a friend of my next door
neighbour's ex-mother-in-law's second husband's cousin's beautician.

By the way....a South American scientist after a lengthy study has
discovered that people with low IQ who don't have enough sex, always read
their emails while holding the mouse.

Don't bother taking it off now, it's too late.

When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce
toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the

Then Mrs Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which

When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were
about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out,
Heaven knows where.

Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked,
the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered.

Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot
of rum.. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had
drank all the cider and hidden the liquor. In his frustration, he
accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of
little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the
broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the
broom.


Just then the doorbell rang, and irritated Santa marched to the door,
yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big
Christmas tree.
The angel said very cheerfully, 'Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a
lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to
stick it?'

And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas
tree.

Standing in a supermarket queue, it’s been a long wait but only one customer to go before you make it to

the cashier. Wait, what was that sensation? An unpleasant feeling forms in your throat, your chest feels

tighter, now a sudden shortness of breath, and what do you know—your heart skips a beat. “Please, God,

not here.”

A quick scan of the territory—is it threatening? Four unfriendly faces queue behind, one person in front.

Pins and needles seem to prick you through your left arm, you feel slightly dizzy, and then the explosion

of fear as you dread the worst. You are about to have a panic attack.

There is no doubt in your mind now that this is going to be a big one. Okay, focus: Remember what you

have been taught, and it is time now to apply the coping techniques. Begin the deep breathing exercise

your doctor recommended. In through the nose, out through the mouth.

Think relaxing thoughts, and again, while breathing in, think “Relax,” and then breathe out. But it

doesn’t seem to be having any positive effect; in fact, just concentrating on breathing is making you

feel self-conscious and more uptight.

Okay, coping technique 2:

Gradual muscle relaxation. Tense both shoulders, hold for 10 seconds, then release. Try it again. No;

still no difference. The anxiety is getting worse and the very fact that you are out of coping techniques

worsens your panic. If only you were surrounded by your family, or a close friend were beside you so you

could feel more confident in dealing with this situation.

Now, the adrenaline is really pumping through your system, your body is tingling with uncomfortable

sensations, and now the dreaded feeling of losing complete control engulfs your emotions. No one around

you has any idea of the sheer terror you are experiencing. For them, it’s just a regular day and another

frustratingly slow queue in the supermarket.

You are out of options. Time for Plan C.

The most basic coping skill of all is “fleeing.” Excuse yourself from the queue; you are slightly

embarrassed as it is now that it is your turn to pay. The cashier is looking bewildered as you leave your

shopping behind and stroll towards the door. There is no time for excuses—you need to be alone. You leave

the supermarket and get into your car to ride it out alone. Could this be the big one? The one you fear

will push you over the edge mentally and physically. Ten minutes later the panic subsides.

It’s 10:30 a.m. How are you going to make it through the rest of the day?

If you suffer from panic or anxiety attacks, the above scenerio probably sounds very familiar. It may

have even induced feelings of anxiety and panic just reading it. The particular situations that trigger

your panic and anxiety may differ; maybe the bodily sensations are a little different. Or maybe it

happened to you for the first time on a plane, in the dentist chair, or even at home, while doing nothing

in particular.

If you have ever had what has become known as a “panic attack,” take comfort in the fact that you are by

no means alone.

A panic attack always comes with the acute sense of impending doom. You feel you are either about to lose

your mind or one of your vital bodily functions is about to cease functioning and you will end your days

right there among the canned goods and frozen food.

You are by no means alone; you’re not even one in a million. In America, it is estimated that almost 5%

of the population suffer from some form of anxiety disorder. For some, it may be the infrequent panic

attacks that only crop up in particular situations-like when having to speak in front of others, while,

for other people, it can be so frequent and recurring that it inhibits them from leaving their home.

Frequent panic attacks often develop into what medical physicians refer to as an “anxiety disorder.”

One of the first steps to regaining control of your life is getting helpful information. This site will

it but you have always decided to panic. You make the choice by saying this is beyond my control.

Another way to appreciate this is to imagine having a panic attack as like standing on a cliff's edge.

The anxiety seemingly pushes you closer to falling over the edge.

To be rid of the fear you must metaphorically jump. You must jump off the cliff edge and into the anxiety

and fear and all the things that you fear most.

How do you jump? You jump by wanting to have a panic attack. You go about your day asking for anxiety and

panic attacks to appear.

Your real safety is the fact that a panic attack will never harm you. That is medical fact. You are safe,

the sensations are wild but no harm will come to you. Your heart is racing but no harm will come to you.

The jump becomes nothing more than a two foot drop! Perfectly safe.

Although it's never a good idea to speak in generalities when it comes to people (after all, we're all as

unique individuals), there are a few basic personality types – and certain common behaviors or

characteristics that you can use to your advantage when it comes to creating your next Internet Marketing

Campaign.

Let's start with the personality types. Based on the "Social Styles" type of personality classification,

you'll find:

Analytical. People in this classification are logical, detail and task-oriented. They want facts.

Expressive. People in this classification are supportive of others, expressive and outgoing. They tend

to go with their guts.

Amiable. People in this classification are loyal, dependable, consistent and hardworking. They like to

dig until they ferret out all the available information.

Achiever. People in this classification are go-getters, driven, forceful and practical. They make

decisions quickly and don't want to waste time.

So how do you design your marketing campaign to meet the needs of all these different personality types –

especially when you're just starting out and money is tight?

The best way is to come up with a plan ahead of time, and provide information in the ways that it will be

best received by the different personality types.

Still confused? Here are some things to keep in mind that will help:

Remember your marketing campaign goals. What do you want your visitors, prospects or customers to do?

(Give you their contact information? Make a purchase?) Make sure that whatever tactics you're using will

help you achieve your goals. And from there, use tactics that will do one of these three things:

Attract visitors to your site. Attraction methods can be anything from articles to videos to blogs to

Podcasts. It can be using social media sites to your advantage or creating a following among readers of

your Blog.

Convert visitors on your site. This means get your visitors to take whatever action you want them to

take. It could mean signing up for your newsletter (giving you their contact information), buying a

product or attending a Teleseminar.

Retain their loyalty. Once you've converted them, you want to keep them happy and coming back for more.

You retain customers by offering an ongoing newsletter, providing some type of customer loyalty program

or even keeping them involved and engaged through social networking sites.



The more you know about who's visiting your site and what they're doing there, the easier this becomes.

There are plenty of ways you can "spy" on your visitors. For example, if you have a Google account (and

if you don't you should – they're free and they offer lots of goodies), you can sign up for Google

Analytics. It's free, and it will give you lots of very valuable intel about visitors to your Website –

such as how people are finding your Website (search engines, direct search and referred from other

sites.) It will tell you what keywords visitors used to find you, what pages they visited, how long they

stayed – even what page they were on when they left. By knowing this information you can increase your

ROI (Return On Investment) for any Internet Marketing Campaign.

Previous marketing methods you have used to communicate to your customers
Methods that have been most effective
Cost compared to sales
Cost per customer
Possible future marketing methods to attract new customers
Percentage of profits you can allocate to your marketing campaign
Marketing tools you can implement within your budget - newspaper, magazine or Yellow Pages advertising; radio or television advertising; direct mail; tele-marketing; public relations activities such as community involvement, sponsorship or press releases
Methods of testing your marketing ideas
Methods for measuring results of your marketing campaign
The marketing tool you can implement immediately

The final component in your marketing plan should be your overall promotional objectives: to communicate your message, create an awareness of your product or service, motivate customers to buy and increase sales, or other specific targets. Objectives make it easier to design an effective campaign and help you keep that campaign on the right track. Once you have defined your objectives, it is easier to choose the method that will be most effective.

So what's an author to do?

Actually, thanks to all the tools that are available to you – including Web 2.0 – marketing your book – and ramping up your sales – is not as hard as you might think.

In fact, here are a few ideas to get your juices flowing. Add them to your sales plan, and use them as a jumping off place to help you make even more sales.

Create a long-term plan before you write even one word of your first book. The truth of the matter is that you're probably never going to get rich from writing one E-book. So before you start writing your first book, start thinking about your second book. And the first product that will tie into your first book. And the second. And then the third.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Come up with as many different income streams as you can and plan to build them into your plan. For example, can you create a workbook from your E-book? What about recording some audio files that go into further details or give more information. What about doing a joint venture with other experts in your industry?

Sell more books at one time. If your book covers any one of a number of popular subjects – self-help or development, home improvement, business, religion – there are probably corporations, organizations or niche markets that are always on the look-out for inexpensive gifts or bonuses for their employees, clients or associates. Explore ways for you to provide value to both of your customers while you're cross-selling or upselling. For example, if you own a restaurant, what about creating a special Valentine's Day promotion with the local florist. Offer free drinks or desserts to any of the florist's customers who bring in a special card (that you've provided to them) when they come to your restaurant. And your joint venture partner (the florist) gives you roses or carnations that can be given out to any women when their companion gives you the special dessert card. See how simple that is? Real value that makes your customers happy, and builds loyalty and trust – and positions both of you as the first people your customers think of when they need flowers or want a romantic restaurant or a place to eat during a special occasion

The first bankruptcy laws in the United States were made because of negative economic conditions.

They began in 1800 and were repealed in 1803.
The modern bankruptcy laws first came into view in 1898, when the Bankruptcy Act gave companies that were in distress a way of paying back their creditors and being protected from losing everything at once.

From World War II through the 1970s, the idea of bankruptcy did not make major headlines.
There weren’t very many businesses that failed.
Even through the 1970s, there were really only two major companies that ended up filing for bankruptcy.

In 1978, there was an act passed called the Bankruptcy Reform Act.
It took effect October 1st, 1979.
This completely revamped the practices regarding bankruptcy.

Chapter 11 was created, which is meant to reorganize businesses and get everyone back to working order after bankruptcy.

Also, during the 1980s, there were many changes that were made to the different bankruptcy chapters and acts.

These covered tax related issues, and rules to protect companies from losing everything as a result of bankruptcy depending on their states at the time of filing and their abilities to pay back the debts on their own.

During the 1980s and early in the 1990s, there were a record number of bankruptcies of all different types.

This could be attributed to the fact that the process was made much more simple, and that the benefits were starting to really look good to the people who were filing.

The changes in the filing systems, and the large numbers of bankruptcies led to changes that had to be made in the court systems so that everything could be handled.

This made the process much easier overall, and allowed for more people to be able to be protected through filing for bankruptcy.

Now, bankruptcies are even easier to file because there are pre arranged and prepackaged bankruptcies, and forms that are created with everyone in mind.

This way, the courts can handle all of the bankruptcy proceedings, and everything is able to move much more smoothly.

Even though bankruptcy is now easier than ever to file, you should always keep in mind that this is something that is going to have a major impact on your credit.

You should not file for bankruptcy unless you feel that it is your last chance and unless you feel that you have no other option.

Otherwise you might find that it is something that is harder on your credit than you could have ever imagined.

During my presentation at my recent Underground OnlineMarketing Seminar (www.UndergroundOnlineSeminar.com/?52187) -
I talked about my own "Underground" secrets. One of the things I covered was how to sell super high-end products.

Personally, I've sold everything from $17 ebooks to$14,500.00 "Apprentice Programs" and lots in-between. Mymost recent high-end product is a $7,995/month program forcosmetic surgeons.
I really love high priced products and you'll see why in amoment...

First off, if you want to make $1M this year - then you'd have to sell 20000 copies of my 'doohickey' at $50. Or it could be 2000 copies at $500. Or better still 200 copies at$5000.
It's a lot easier dealing with 200 customers than 20,000.

Think of all the customer service and infrastructure, etc.Plus, as a general rule - the buyers of a high-pricedproduct or service are better buyers are easier to dealwith than someone who bought a $9.95 ebook and drives youcrazy.

The other thing is these customers pay more attention andrevere the information or product/service more. I'veattended $500 seminars and I've attended $10,000.00seminars. Which one do you think I was paying moreattention to? So having higher priced products is actuallybetter for your customers because they are more committed.Think about the last time you gave free advice to someone -what happen?

That's right. Nothing. But if you had madethem pay you for consulting - they would have taken it toheart.

But there's still more on the economics side...

With a higher priced product that means you have more moneyto advertise. If I'm going against someone selling a $19ebook and I'm selling a $199 home study course in the samemarket - who can spend more?
No contest, right?

My competitor can only go up to $19 (unless they've got aback-end product) but I can actually spend up to $199. Butwhat else does that let me do? I can come into amarketplace and suck up a big part of the resellers becauseI can give more commissions. Hey, that's the name of thegame for many affiliates. I can give them $100 to promotemy product instead of the measly $10 my competitor mightgive them.

And of course speaking of economics there's more money init for you. If you've got a high priced product thereshould be a very high margin built in. If not, raise theprice. I'm serious most people are undercharging for whatthey provide. My rule of thumb and one of my values I lookat it every morning in my planners says "I am rich byenriching others 10x - 100x what they pay me in return".

That's a big deal for me. If you pay me $1000 for a product- I want to make sure it delivers $10,000 in value for mycustomers. I suggest you consider something similar. Ifyour product isn't good enough for you to raise your priceon it - make it better!

Here are just some of the high-end products you could sellin the information marketing world (I've successfully soldall of these and taught many of my students how to do thesame):

* Live events like workshops and seminars

* "Big" boxes of manuals, CDs, DVDs, CDroms, etc

* High end facilitated group masterminds

* eClasses

* "Done it for them" services

* Coaching

* Reprint rights and licenses and many more...

And don't think high-priced products can only sell if youare selling 'how to make money' related products. I havestudents and friends doing very well selling high pricedproducts to the fitness marketplace, the dating markets,small niche obsessive-compulsive markets, self-help, careermarketplaces and many more.
Now a lot of people think selling high priced products area lot tougher than low-priced products. Not true. Youusually spend about the same effort trying to sell a high-priced product as a lower priced product.

Now when selling a high-priced product most people make themistake of just trying to "1-step" it. That means sendingpeople off to a webpage or sending them a sales letter andthen nothing more. Only a small percentage will buy thisway. I prefer lead generating where I get people to "raisetheir hands" and say "yeah I'm interested".

This way I cannow afford to spend more to chase those prospects. And it'snot enough to just email them follow-ups. I prefer to havea whole arsenal at my fingertips if needed like directmail, voice broadcast, telephone calls, postcards, etc.

If over-delivering on value - hold your breath and add anextra zero to your price. You'll thank me for it! ;)

Do you remember the stupid beer commercial a few years backwith the tagline "Why Ask Why?" Well, completely unknown tothe ad agency -- they had almost stumbled onto abreakthrough marketing concept.

Telling people the reason why you are doing something isone of the most powerful influencers of human behavior.

Robert Cialdini, Ph.D. in his book "Influence: ThePsychology of Persuasion" talks about an experiment byHarvard social psychologist, Ellen Langer, that concludedpeople like to have a reason for what they do.

Her experiment consisted of people waiting in line to use alibrary copy machine and then having experimenters ask toget ahead in line.

The first excuse used was "Excuse me, I have five pages.May I use the Xerox machine because I'm in a rush?" Thisrequest coupled with a reason was successful 94% of thetime. However when the experimenter made a request only:"Excuse me, I have five pages. May I use the Xeroxmachine?" this request was only granted 60% of the time. Asignificant drop.
Okay now for the shocker.

It may seem like the difference between those two requestswas the additional information of "because I'm in a rush",but that's just not the case.

Because in a third experimenter, the experimenter asks"Excuse me, I have five pages. May I use the Xerox machinebecause I have to make some copies?" There's no reasonmentioned or new information presented, just the words"because".

This time a full 93% of the people said yes simply due tothe word 'BECAUSE'! And it didn't even matter that therewas no reason given. Just the word because triggered amagic response.
Using this psychological 'trigger' can massively increaseyour Marketing success.

Here's an example: John E. Powers, one of the topcopywriters in the 1900's, wrote this ad for a Pittsburghdepartment store in severe financial trouble:

"We are bankrupt. We owe $125,000 more than we can pay, andthis announcement will bring our creditors down on ournecks. But if you come and *buy* tomorrow, we shall havethe money to meet them. If not, we shall go to the wall."

Instead of yelling 'SALE' like so many other stores would,there's a legitimate reason given why people should spendtheir money at this store. And this ad was said to beresponsible for saving the store.

Another ad written by Powers, for a different merchant,proclaimed "We have a lot of rotten raincoats we want toget rid of." This sold out the entire inventory ofraincoats by the next morning.

Max Sackheim, famous for the long-running ad "Do You MakeThese Mistakes In English" and originator of the book-of-the-month concept, says this: "Whenever you make a claim orspecial offer in your advertising, come up with an honestreason why, and then state it sincerely. You'll sell manymore products this way."

And this powerful strategy works just as well today.

Using this secret weapon for a medical equipment company, Ihelped them produce a massive 1,073% return on investmentsimply using "reason-why" copy.

The premise was how can we sell a product for theincredibly low price of only $477? (Regularly this productsells for about $695 - $895.) Then the ad went on toexplain that the reason why the price was so low wasbecause the manufacturer wanted to gain market share andget nurses and doctors accustomed to using their product.It was a huge winner and a big money-maker for the client.

So how can you apply all of this to your business? Easy.Let's say you have a slow time of year and you want toincrease your business during this period. Well, write asimple letter to your customers making a special offer,only good during your slow period.

Maybe you'll throw in an extra free bonus, an extraservice, or a special discount simply because it is your"slow time" and you need to pay your staff anyway.

Let people in "behind the scenes" at your company...

* Are you overstocked on merchandise because for somereason customers only want the deluxe widget - but youordered tons of the basic one?

* Did you have a flood and you need to liquidate (pardonthe pun) your inventory?

* Do you need to raise cash so you can pay for yournosejob?

Whatever the reason. Tell them the truth.
For some reason everyone wants to be mysterious about theirbusiness. If you're lowering the price nobody thinks you'redoing it just because you're "such a nice guy". So letpeople in the reason why.

I know this probably goes against every grain of businesssense, but I promise if you give people a good, believablereason why they'll respond with open wallets.

Q. Firstly Michael, thank you for joining us today in your busy schedule.

A. Hey no problem. Good to be here.

Q. We all know that traffic is important but could you just explain a bit about traffic for the
beginners out there?

A. Sure. Traffic is the lifeblood of any business online. Without it you just die. We all know
that. But what a lot of us don't realize is that just like everything else on the Internet traffic changes very
quickly. That is, the methods of getting traffic are changing all the time and that's where people get caught
out.

Q. What do you mean by "caught out"?

A. Well people fall into the trap of thinking that just because they know one or two traffic
generation methods that they are some sort of traffic master. In reality just because you know how to start a pay
per click campaign or a little bit about search engines doesn't make you anywhere near a traffic expert. I'm trying
to spread the word that there is a massive array of traffic tactics that most people aren't even aware of, let
alone using or mastering.

Q. Can you give us some examples?

A. Sure. Offline for example. You might immediately think that getting traffic is a purely online
activity but the truth of the matter is that there are lots of things you can be doing offline to get people into
your website. And it's usually these sorts of areas that are being under-utilized and therefore there is less
competition for that traffic as well.

Q. So by offline you mean advertising offline?

A. Not necessarily. That is one method, yes, but I'm thinking of more creative ways to get people
into your website. It all comes down to the fact that having asked people on my list it came as no surprise that
most people want to know about free rather than paid traffic sources. I've had to become an expert in free ways of
getting traffic in my time online.

Q. What do you mean - I thought you were running a successful online business with lots of cash
flow?

A. I am. But it's not always been this way. When I first started out in 1995 I had nothing. No
money to play with. Just my own initiative and imagination.

Q. So are you saying you're against paying for traffic online?

A. No. No I'm not saying that at all. What I'm saying is that, especially when you first start
out, you always want to focus on the free methods. You get the traffic in for free, make some sales and then you
can reinvest some of that money into paid methods of getting traffic. This speeds up the process.

Q. So what particular offline methods are you referring to - can you give us some examples?


A. There's one tactic I used that costs nothing to implement, is relatively quick and ended up

Have you been married more than five years? Do you find that the tension between you and your spouse has been on the rise? Stress in the marriage is more common than most will think, or want to believe, but you can put an end, or at least ease up on the stress in marriage by following a few common things. You want to work on how you think about things, how you come across in the marriage, and in what you say, and you want to change the time that the two of your spend together.

Change how you talk to lessen the stress in your marriage
Think before you blurt anything out in a marriage. You may feel very comfortable in your relationship, and you may feel you can say just about anything aloud, but the truth of the matter is when you call some one stupid, or idiot, even in a joking manner it is going to hurt the relationship. Take the stress out of your long-term relationship by thinking about what you are saying before you are saying it.

Change how you act, and how you are around your spouse
Remember back in a time when you were dating, you were happy to see your spouse? You were happy to spend time doing your hair, picking out your clothes and such? Put that feeling back into your life by thinking of how you are going to make your spouse fall in love with you again every day. This is going to put the spark back into your relationship and will take the stress out of your relationship.

A lot of stress involved in a relationship is the lack of trust. Stressing out about where your spouse is, why they are working late, or just where they are in general will eventually put a major strain on the relationship. Take the stress out of your relationship and out of the marriage by putting trust back into the equation. It is going to be difficult if not impossible to not trust your spouse. Trust is going to put all the strain and stress behind you so the two of you can work on being together for the rest of your lives.

Stress in your marriage is going to appear not only after you have been married for a few years, but also when children appear in the family, and when money matters are tight. Take your stress and focus your energies on something constructive in the situation. If you are find you are stressed about money, find ways to save money. If you are stressed about the children, find a sitter for the night and unwind a little bit. Every problem, every stressful situation does have an answer and you can work through it.

Traveling to and from work can be stressful. Traveling with children can be stressful. Traveling out of the country or on an airplane can also be stressful. To lessen your stress while you are traveling you need to prepare yourself for the trip, for where you are traveling too and you need to keep your stress levels down so you enjoy your trip for the entire time you are out traveling.

To reduce stress while traveling too and from work, leave yourself plenty of time. In allowing yourself an added fifteen minutes, you can easily reduce the stress you feel in traveling to work everyday. Reduce stress you feel so you are not in a hurry all the time. Waking up early or at least on time all the time is going to help you reduce the stress your feel daily. Reduce your stress while traveling to work by turning the radio on, and listening to some soft music, or at least music of your choice. Soothing noised music you love, is going to help you turn that stress away.

Reduce stress while traveling with children. To reduce your stress, you need to travel at night, when the children are sleeping, or bring along activities that are going to keep the children occupied while you are traveling. Videos, DVD’s, board games, music and such as all great way of keeping your children occupied while you are traveling so they don’t stress you out. Children can easily become bored and cranky. Make sure you are traveling in the shortest routes possible, and during the times when children are not hungry or will want to get out and move around in the sun. Traveling is easiest first thing in the morning and late in the evening.

Stress while traveling is going to be less involved, less noticed if you are to remain calm and cool while you are standing in line, standing waiting to eat, waiting to cross a bridge, waiting to get through the tunnels, even while you are waiting to check into your hotel. Be patient. Remember, you have all the time in the world; you don’t have to be any where at any particular time. You are on vacation and waiting, in slow lines is all about part of being on vacation and while traveling. Take a deep breath and read your book, listen to your music, talk to your family and think about all the good things that are bound to come yet. Leave stress behind by preparing yourself mentally to wait and to be more patient.

Every teenager is going to face some amount of stress in their lives, from the family, for their grades, in getting a job, in getting their drivers license, stress with friends, stress and drugs, and so much more. Helping your child through stressful times in their life is going to be important. As you teach your teen to handle stress, and not to handle stress for them, but on their own, you are going to be teaching them life skills.

Your teen is going to face stress, when grades come out. To fight the stress about grades, talk to your teen about how they are doing in school all the time, not just at report card time. Voice options, such as, if they get a bad grade, offer to help them learn the subject. Spend extra time learning about history or calculus and get the teen interested in getting a better grade. To get a better grade, a teen has to work hard all semester. One failing grade can be overcome and shouldn’t be a matter of too much stress. Avoid the stress of failing for the year by giving your teen the opportunity of a tutor, or of your own abilities in that subject.

Your teen is going to have stress in their life when it comes to peer pressure. Pressure about doing drugs, cutting school, and stress about having sex. Giving your teen information about what they can have in life and what they won’t have in life if they are to make the wrong choices is going to help them avoid stress. Help them choose the right friends, help them to have fun without drugs, and provide options of where they can hang out so they won’t be tempted to make the wrong choices. Without knowing it is ok for a friend to come over and watch movies all the time, a teen is not going to bring friends home. Give your teen options and leave stressful situations behind, as they learn to make choices that are not going to cause worry, stress, and possible problems in the future.

Every teen is going to feel stress about having sex at some point in their life. To make the transition easier, a teen should be able to talk to a parent, or to an adult about sex and what to do about pressure. If a teen does not feel ready to have sex, they will shun away from the situation, change friends, and drop a girl friend or boy friend. These are normal situations. To give your teen help during these stressful years, don’t urge on relationships. If a choice has been made, let it be. Teens make choices because they feel they believe in the outcome. Give your teen advice, but don’t try and make their decisions for them. If you come on too strong, a teen may just do the opposite just because they want to prove you wrong so avoid giving only ultimatums, but tell the teen about choices for the best possible outcome.

Money is a source of stress, no matter how much you have, or don’t have. Stress is brought about by worrying what you are going to do with your money, where you are going to get money, and how you are going to pay the bills next. To lessen the stress in your life, you are going to have to make your money work for you, and your budget. Being on a budget, and sticking to that budget is going to lessen the stress in your life.

If you have too much stress in your life because of stress, you first need to sit down and think about what you have. You have money coming into the home for work, or from any other source. The money you have coming in usually is not going to change. Now you have to seriously think about where you spend your money. If you are spending much of your money on eating out, on going to the movies and not paying the bills, you have some serious thinking to do. You need to list all the expenses for the home.

It can be stressful thinking about how many bills you have, but in the end, you are going to shorten the stressful times in your life as you take control of your bills and expenses. In reviewing where you are spending your money and how you are spending your money, you will have to make a few decisions. Decide where you are going to find an extra $100 per month. This could mean you don’t eat lunch out, that you don’t go to the bar everyday, or perhaps that you are not going to stop at the store every day after work but just one day a week. You need to cut bills, and cut the stress about money in your life so you can feel better about your finances every day.

To cut stress about money, you should also put a plan into effect that will help you create a savings account. A savings account can be started with just five dollars a week. As small as that may be, when you really have an emergency you don’t have to stress out about money because you will have a few bucks in the savings account that will get you through that emergency time. Learn to cut on expenses, and save money, both are great methods of cutting the stress in your life when it all comes down to money!

Children can be a major change in your life. If you are suddenly finding it difficult to handle your children or that you are now in charge of raising children, you need to learn to handle stress, and to remain calm through out the many problems that children can ‘throw’ at your family and into your life.

To keep calm, no matter what the situation you have a few alternatives, you can make a joke about it, you can breath deeply or you can walk away. Depending on the seriousness of the situation and how upset you really are, will also determine just what you are going to do at the moment when you feel that stress attach coming on. For some, a stress attack is felt as you clench your teeth, others notice your voice is rising, and sometimes, you may even feel your heart race a bit, and for a continued time.

Facing your problems head on is going to aid in lessening stress right away. For example, your daughter just brought her boyfriend home and they are heading to her room. Simply avoid stress, by telling your daughter, sorry, friends have to stay in the family room, rules are rules. If she doesn’t like it, she will have her boyfriend leave. If you aren’t speaking your mind, you are going to feel your blood boiling the entire time they are in her room, no matter what age she is or what you may be told they are doing. Breathe deeply, and start out with a solid voice. As you approach the situation you are in control, and you are putting stress behind you. As you are in control, you are reminding the child you are the parent and that what you say goes.

What you will find is that you have many ways of remaining in control, even if your son or daughter is being defiant. Perhaps your daughter continued walking to her bedroom with her boyfriend, what are you going to do next? Make a joke about it! Go to the basement, flip all the breakers, make the house dark. Make the stay unwelcome and make it known. There will be no computer no lights, no music when the lights are out. When the daughter comes out of the room to inquire what is going on, you can sit in the family room with a few candles and state to your daughter that you don’t know what is going on, and that maybe they should come down where the lights are. You never have to let anyone know about your ‘joke’ but you will feel less stress, because you are in control.

While these situations may seem a bit silly, they can actually be quite aggravating on the parents stress levels, and health levels. It is vital to remember to control a situation, and to be in charge, you are going to feel less stress about any situation involving your child. Keep yourself under control, be in control, breathe deeply, and do something about those things in life that are causing you stress! You can use this simple story to apply to many situations your children; your teens are going to ‘throw’ at you to keep your sanity!

Cigars and men, what is with this pair? In the past, there was that stereotype that only rich males are the ones

who smoke cigar. Nowadays, there is no definite line that separates the rich men from the not-so-rich men when it

is going to be based with cigar smoking. Any man and today woman could buy and enjoy a stick, sticks or many sticks

of cigar.

There is one thing certain. There is a difference between the excellent and poor cigar. You must know if that cigar

is worth-buying. There are certain tips to follow when buying one.


Observe if the wrapper has smooth and a bit shine feature. Make sure that it does not have blemishes and it

must not be too firm.

nicotine, cigars have 100 to 200 milligrams. This only shows how much danger cigar could cause over cigarettes.

1. Prepare the following materials:

• Ceramic containers like mugs or any fancy-shaped figurine that could hold the candle wax when melted and cooled. Glasses are also great.
• Gel wax,
• Candle wicks
• Pencils
• Pot (for melting wax)
• Candle scent and color (non alcohol-base)
• Sharp scissors
2. With the use of a pencil, twine the wick around it but leave some of the wick free that it could reach the bottom part of the candle container. It must be straight down the center of the container.
3. Put the pencil with the twined wick on top of the container; allow the wick to hang down the center of the container. As what the directions tell, melt the wax by cutting them into cubes first to hasten the melting.

7. Trim the wick to ¼ of its total length.

The beach is always well-loved by many people. This is a picture of peace and serenity. “Beach” as a theme is

really common for parties, fashion, videos and… candles? Yes, it is possible. The candle industry is now getting

experimental about the designs to use. With candles usefulness, it could also be made in such a way that it could

fit into the modern way of living- that is trendy and comfortable.

Trendy- bracing some dashes of style, candles could be very good accessories for the home. In order for you to

bring that fun atmosphere of the beach, why not bring that sand and sea mood at home?

These helpful tips may let you try more options:



1. Find a container that would best hold into form the candle you have in mind. Make sure that you will be

using non-flammable containers. Use glass if available, they could show the gel, choose something with a touch of

aqua blue.

2. Plan to have the wick like about 1.5 inches from the sides and dribble a spot of hot glue on the bottom of

the container you used.

3. Stick the wink on the hot glue and let it cool down for a few minutes. Don’t use cotton as core wick, zinc

4. For the gel, cut the gel wax into small parts or cubes and place it into a container and heat it up. Make

sure that the heat is not too hot or too cold. 200 Fahrenheit could make it melt well.

6. Do not use coloring materials that would make the gel lose its transparency. Ignore the use of water-based

and paste dyes as a combination. They do not complement each others components.

7. Pour ¼ of essential oil or gel scent for more effects that would make the candle “marketable”. When pouring

such, add more wax cubes if there is a “cloudy” effect on the liquid.

8. Scents you use must be alcohol-free. For the aquatic theme, choose a “cool” scent than those which are

fruity or musky.

9. When you are about to pour the candle liquid on a container, set a level mark and make sure that the liquid

will not pass over it. Put some seashell beads, aquarium gravel, sand, aqua blue glitter, pebbles, and others. Do

it by layer.

10. Make it a point to preheat the container (150 degrees). This would minimize the presence of bubbles that

may ruin the form of the finished product.

11. Then pull up the wick and be sure that it goes up in the center of the candle. Let the candle cool

down for 3-4 hours. Trim the wick at about ¼ inch.

12. You could vary the designs of your aquatic candles by mixing and matching colors and objects like starfish

and clouds, sand and stars, boat prints and pebbles are just a few of the numerous possibilities.


The sea, sand, bikinis, waves, hats, flip flops… the beautiful sights one summer afternoon could be reflected by

When people in the media, or just people in the know, refer to the various stock markets in lower Manhattan in New

York City, they usually just refer to Wall Street. The now famous financial district has become synonymous with

large amounts of money, power and influence. But how did one street manage to evolve into such an important address?

Ironically, most major investment firms that helped to build Wall Street into the financial force that it is today

aren’t even headquartered there anymore. Thanks to technology advancements, these companies are usually

headquartered in other parts of Manhattan or in neighbouring New Jersey or Connecticut. One of the most influential

companies in Wall Street history, J.P. Morgan moved from the address that they helped make famous in late 2001.

The name Wall Street was actually given to the street since it formed a boundary to the New Amsterdam settlement in

the early 1600’s. To help ward off the British, a 12-foot wall was built around the street to keep out invaders in

1653. In 1792, the Buttonwood agreement started the New York Stock Exchange and its headquarters would be on Wall

Street.

In 1889, a newspaper that would eventually become the Wall Street Journal began publication. The paper took its

name from the fact that a growing financial district was sprouting around the stock exchange and many companies

that would go on to be powerful forces in the United States economy were headquartered there.

One of the most well known symbols of Wall Street, the JP Morgan headquarters, was built in 1914. The building

still stands today, but is now owned and run by Deutsche Bank.

Wall Street has seen its fair share of history over the years, with the 1920 bombing that killed around 40 people

and injured 400 to the great crash of 1929 that saw some people kill themselves. Today, if you check the front

façade of the JP Morgan building, you can still see pock marks of the 1920 terrorist attack.

The construction of the World Trade Centers were the only real major architectural change to the financial district

in the last half of the 20th century, and their subsequent destruction has left a void in the hearts and minds of

many that work and live near there.

The history of Wall Street is a collage of incredible highs and devastating lows. As the center for American and

some would say world finance, you can bet that there will be plenty of memories made on the most famous street in the world.

The mini-crash of 1997 is remembered better today for what didn’t happen than what did. For the first time in New

York Stock Exchange history, trading was halted for the day for the first time ever due to losses in stock prices.

What made this event so controversial is that the “circuit-breaker” system that was used for the first time that

day was run on the idea that once the market has lost a certain number of points, trading would be halted. This was

seen to be short-sighted since the actual percentage of value lost when trading was halted was relatively minor

compared to other market crashes and corrections in the past. The circuit breaker system has since been corrected

to only stop once 10 percent, 20 percent and finally 30 percent of the market value has been lost.

As is always the case with trading on the American stock markets, the ripple effect that would turn into a tidal

wave started with the Hong Kong market. The Hang Seng Index fell about six percent the night before, but many

experts in the US didn’t bear it much mind since the Nikkei average lost only two percent that same day. As markets

opened in Europe, they followed suit with their Asian counterparts, with the FTSE losing about 2 percent and the

DAX exchange in Frankfurt falling, as well.

As markets opened in the United States, most predicted a bad day, but no one predicted what ended up happening. The

NASDAQ, S&P and the Dow Jones all opened lower, and it was pretty much all down hill from there. Just after 2:30 in

the afternoon, the Dow had dropped 350 points, causing the first level of the “circuit-breaker” to go off, halting

trading. While a 350 point drop is significant, many did not feel a stoppage in trading was warranted at that time,

since a drop of that size is relatively small, percentage-wise. Thirty minutes later, trading began again, only to

see the 550 point window smashed around 3:30. This second circuit breaker level usually causes a one-hour break in

trading, but since there was only 30 or so minutes left, trading for the day was ended.

This correction was seen as a slight bump in what was otherwise a good year for the Dow. The 550 point drop was

just over a 7% loss for the day. It turned out to be the 12th biggest percentage loss in a single day in Dow

history and third biggest point loss.

Maybe no event in American financial history is better known and more infamous than Black Tuesday, the day the stock market crashed and ushered in a depression that would grip the United States through the first half of the next decade. But what caused such a horrible event and what can be learned from it?

The stock market crash that most people associate with Black Tuesday, was actually a multi-day process. The previous Thursday, the market began its downward slide, with trading setting an all time record with 13 million shares trading hands that day. The Dow had reached an all-time high just a month earlier in September of 1929 with a close of 381.17. A group of bankers met during that Thursday to try to figure out how to stop the slide and they decided to take the same tact that worked to stop the last market panic in 1907. They began to buy massive amounts of blue chip stock to try to reassure investors that the market was holding steady and that they shouldn’t sell everything they had and make matters worse.

The bankers, led by Tom Lamont of Morgan Bank, Chase National Bank’s Albert Wiggin and Charles Mitchell of National City Bank thought that this method had worked, but it only led to a quieter Friday. The downfall would continue early next week.

On Monday, spurred on by negative newspaper accounts of Thursday’s crash, investors sold more and more stock off, sending the Dow into another tailspin. At the end of Monday’s trading, approximately 13 percent of the value of the Dow had been lost. Black Tuesday led to more losses that some believed were spurred on by President Herbert Hoover’s insistence that he would not veto a tariff bill that many on Wall Street thought would hurt the economy.

So, what caused the crash? Most believe an artificial economic bubble is to blame for the crash. The bubble was formed during the 1920’s and the great amount of speculative investing that happened during that time. The downturn in stock prices after the high in September saw a chain of events happen that led to the Great Depression of the 1930’s.

While no one can predict the future, it’s safe to assume that while our current economy is healthy, a possible stock market crash can happen again. But only if we learn from history can we avoid another long-term depression that shakes the American economy down to its very foundation.

The stock market is on the news every day. Even on days when there isn’t trading, like a weekend or a holiday, there are people on TV and in the newspaper that are talking about what they think individual stock are going to do and why you should or shouldn’t invest your money right now. We know that a stock market trades stocks. But why? And what good does it provide to the economy?

The stock market is seen by many to be the engine that drives the economy. Businesses and corporations and even governments use the stock market to create capital or wealth. They create this wealth by offering stock, or shares, which are like little pieces of ownership of the company or corporation, and then they trade them. The value of the stock depends on how well the company is doing. The company sells the stock to investors who buy the stock based on if they think the company is going to be making a lot of money or not. This brings in a huge amount of cash into the corporation. IPO’s or initial price offerings are when a company offers stock to the public for the first time ever. A big corporation can make hundreds of millions of dollars or even billions of dollars during their IPO. If the company continues to do well and make money, the stock price goes up, everyone that has shares makes money and more stock is sold to people who want to own a piece of that company.

The same method works if the company is doing badly. The stock loses value as the company does badly, and people then begin to sell the stock and the value of it goes down.

Every company, even the most successful ones, have their stocks go up and down on a monthly basis based on things like earning reports. There is no 100% safe stock, but there are stock that is referred to as “blue chip” stocks, or ones that are the most reliable.

But it isn’t just stock that is traded on a stock exchange like the NYSE. Bonds, securities and commodities are also traded, creating wealth in many different sectors as well as helping the flow of goods and services over the globe. The role of the NYSE and other stock exchanges around the world cannot be overstated in their importance to the world economy.

The Equal Credit Opportunity Act says that all lenders will apply the same credit standards to all the consumers no matter what their race, sex, marital status, national origin, religion, age, or public assistance program that is involved. This does not say for sure that the loan approved or credit will be given to you. It will give you an equal chance to obtain credit. The only good measurement for creditors to use is your ability to pay the debts that you owe.

Many of the applications will have questions about some of the above things. However you are not required to answer them on an application for credit. These may be asked because of the fair housing laws or affirmative action laws but these are at your discretion. You should not be asked about your material status, unless your partner will help you secure the loan. You may be asked your age because of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, but only to determine if you are old enough to have the credit. This means that you have to be over the age of 18 in the U.S.

Creditors must tell any applicants of their decision within 30 days. If the application is not approved, the creditor must provide a written statement that has full detail of the outcome or decision along with the reason for the denial and the information on the applicant’s rights. This act will help to seal for certain it is kept with all applications for credit no matter who the applicant is.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act will also give people the right to see their credit report. To make this better, everyone is entitled to a free credit report every 12 months. This act will help people to receive their credit history for all three national credit-reporting agencies. When you are reviewing your credit, you can dispute items on the credit report and this will allow the consumer to control some of what the credit reporting agencies have against them. If the correction to your credit in not right, you can also add a statement of 100 words or less to help clarify the item that you want to dispute.

The act was started to uphold the accuracy and privacy of a person’s private information in the credit report. It was passed with the intention of preventing identity theft, which has become more popular in recent years. By reviewing one’s credit report each year, he or she will be able to determine if any kind of identity theft has happened.

Both of these acts will protect you by helping the fairness of the lending industry while allowing you to take control of your credit history and making sure that it is accurate. If you want to maintain good credit, you need to learn as much about it as you can. Understanding these laws means that you are taking a good and positive step in creating good credit for yourself and making it possible to have a more stable financial future.

The process is long and each of the three major companies in the United States will participate in reporting credit scores and histories with a different method. This is why your credit score is going to be a little bit different from one to the next. There are some factors that you can take into consideration if you want to estimate your credit score on your own.

The first thing is if you have not ever owned a credit card or had any type of bill in your name or if you have borrowed money of any kind, your credit score is going to be zero. Even though this is not considered to be bad credit, it is hard to even get a loan with no credit as it is with bad credit. There are some companies that may be willing to take a chance on someone with no credit but it is much better to build up your credit little by little as you go by having cards in your name and living a comfortable and stable life within your means of income.

Your credit history is going to make up about 35% of your total credit score and it is very important. The bills that are not paid or if you have debts that have defaulted you will hurt your credit score for 7 to 10 years before they are all erased. You need to think about this and all of the bad choices that you make today can hurt your credit in the future. If you are repaying these debts now, chances are they will still show up on your credit report now as bills that were paid late. There is 15% that is going to be the length of your credit history. It is a good idea to start building credit as soon as you can. Your score is will improve as time goes on as long as you are maintaining a bank account. The information like length of employment or residence so that it can be classified in this section so if you have a regular and stable life, you will have a better score than someone else that moves around all the time.

Then 30% of your score will depend on what you are currently owing to creditors. Even if you are not late on paying your bills, if you have many loans out at one time, it may be possible that you are denied to have another. Therefore it is important to only take out the loans you really need and to repay them on time or early if you can. In other cases, the co-signers good credit may help someone with poor credit get a loan that they would otherwise be denied for.

We all start out with a credit score of 0. Having no credit score is almost as bad as having a bad one. There is no record of your credibility, which is not very convenient if you are a young adult trying to get a loan for a home or car or college education. There are parents or guardians who will understand the meaning of having credit will put their child’s name on a utility bill and let theme make payments from a job or pay for it themselves. As long as the bill is paid in full and on time, it will put a positive reflect on the person’s credibility. It will be a lot easier to move into the adult work of making a large purchase like a first home when you have good credit to your name.

For the person that has managed to make a bad name for himself or herself in the world of credit and they are in need of a loan, they may have to rely on a co-singer to help them out of this jam. A credit union is a good organization that is for individuals based on where they live or where they are employed. It will work in the same ways as most banks but offer loans that are more exclusive to their members and offer a better and much lower interest rate. Those who deposit the money are able to borrow money because the members run it. This is the best place for someone to earn a stable paycheck but is somehow managed to accumulate bad credit because of sometimes the community will base it on their character and not on their creditability. A bank can turn you down easily if your credit rating is not good but with a credit union you will have the chance to explain what you want before you are approved or denied.

You can benefit financially because you are a member of the credit union. A savings account with a bank will accumulate interest over time. It is set by the percentage of what your balance is over time. Credit unions will pay higher interest to their members and the interest rates on any loan are going to be lower as well. Any profits that are accumulated will go into serving the members better because it is a non profit organization that is ran by volunteers in the community only.

There are different ways of finding out which credit unions are available to you with your employment, residence, or what your part is in an organization. If you have a stable job, you can ask your employer if there is one that you are able to get based on your involvement with the company. There may also be a member of your family who belongs to a credit union that encourages members to have their entire family members join. In most areas, you may be available to join because of where you are living. It is viewed as a way for the community to work together as one to take care of all the members.

Everyone needs to be a member of a financial institution in order to get and build up good credit, gain eligibility, and to take out a loan if it is needed. They will also be able to have a reference of stability on his or her credit report. Many people will want to use the credit unions over banks because they are friendlier and locally ran by members of the community. They are non-profit so you will not have to pay a fee to be a member and take advantage on the positive things that they offer. They will give anyone who has bad credit a chance to be eligible for loans and rebuilding their credit score.

Nutrition and physical activity is going to go along together for our bodies. Exercise is going to give us fitness

along with four major things: flexibility, strength, muscle endurance, and cardiovascular health. Diet on it’s own

is not going to be able to give you this. You need to have the physical part as well. One thing to remember is

that a bad diet can affect the way that your fitness training goes even if you follow the best type of exercise

plan that you can. You need to put a healthy diet and a lot of exercise together to stay as healthy as you can.

It is going to be achievable to answer the question of how long you need to exercise to keep as healthy as you can.

The average is at least 20 minutes of exercise at least three times a week. This will help to strengthen the

cardiovascular health. Another idea is that 3500 calories must be used in a week by doing any sort of physical

activity. This will benefit you and your heart as well. It is a good idea to speak to your doctor first to find out

what exercise plan is going to be best for you and your body.

The energy nutrients that are stored like glucose and fatty acids with a few amino acids are let out into the blood

during exercise in order to provide energy for what you are doing. This means that the body will respond to

exercise by adjusting its fuel amounts.

There is a way to use diet to control high blood pressure and now they are finding out that exercise has a role in

keeping blood pressure from increasing. With the reduction of sodium into your body, weight loss and limited

alcohol use, along with the increased amount of physical activity and a low fat diet, you can control hypertension.

Foods that are used for the purpose of lowering blood pressure without using medication can include sweets and

many beverages that have sugar in them, red meat and fats.

To build muscle in the body, proteins are used and this is true when the body is at rest after exercise or any type

of physical activity. There is research that has shown that athletes will retain more protein and use more of it as

fuel for the body. The American Dietetic Association has said that one gram per kilogram of bodyweight is

recommended for people that do not exercise at all. For the athletes, the protein amounts are going to be higher.

It should be considered that athletes also need more carbohydrates as well. If they do not take in enough crabs,

their protein will be used all up for fuel and there will not be anything left for muscle building after exercise

is done.

There is increasing evidence that weight bearing exercises like walking, dancing, running, sports and so much more.

Are very good at getting good bone health. Swimming has been a great use for bone health. Eating disorders like

bulimia and anorexia have been said to damage bone strength. Exercise alone cannot make your body healthy. You

need to have the proper calcium and other vitamins and minerals required for bones must go with the adequate amount

of exercise to provide the best bone health. Along with exercise, diet can help keep your body working good and in

the right mode for the rest of your life.

[NEW YORK - Wednesday] - by Devon Melk. Rumors are now running
amok
that the 2nd most powerful website on the entire Worldwide-Web
may
file BANKRUPTCY, with the deadline set for this December; being
the
date of both discharge and dissolution in a Federal Court of Law.

This would come as a SHOCK to investors and "Googlers" alike who
both profit and benefit from the use of the World's largest and
most powerful search engine which receives far in excess of
100 MILLION unique daily visitors and well over 300 million
individual searches daily - making it perhaps the single most
valuable public data resource as an "information bank" online the
world over.

But is the rumor true or false?

The origin of the rumor occurred when some savvy Internet
marketers
began making statements that they had heard "insiders' talk" that
the company (now publicly traded since April 30, 2004, just over
3
years ago) may face financial disaster with the release of a "new
system" that would allow advertisers to get their otherwise
pay-per-click (PPC) advertising completely free.

This, of course, would naturally lead directly (like a domino-
effect) to the collapse of Google's sibling program AdSense; as
its
only revenue comes from the direct sales of AdWords "clicks."

The "new system" in question and responsible for the controversy
over getting AdWords pay-per-clicks free is that developed by
Dr Jon Cohen of New York City, New York (now retired) who
discovered
a simple, yet effective means, for getting Google PPC ads without
having to suffer the costs involved.

The retired New York doctor and native has a publicly disclosed
net
worth now in excess of $70 million [US], having generated well
over
$377 million in product sales from sixteen (16) separate online
businesses within just nine (9) years since first venturing
online
in 1998 (about the same time as Google was founded).

It is estimated by company insiders and leading financial
analysts
that the "good doctor" (as he's called by "all who know him") has
purportedly saved well over $93 million (some estimates suggest
closer to $136 million) in otherwise paid advertising at Google
and
the other major players in the PPC targeted-search arena online -
including Yahoo, MSN, AskJeeves, AllTheWeb.com, HotBot,
AltaVista,
Lycos and Netscape, just to name a few.

The "secret" became available to the general masses last April,
and
its very release caused such a major sweeping stir among the
community of Internet-marketers, affiliate-marketers, webmasters,
ecommerce company owners and surfers alike that the site quickly
rose to break the top most visited 1,000 websites on the entire
planet briefly; and as can be seen here:

When asked if the "secret" would somehow ruin Google, Dr Cohen
revealed almost cryptically that it actually would bring about
just
the opposite effect, and "stimulate" even more business volume

system to the general public -- which indicates to most observers
that either they [Google] haven't caught it, or they simply feel
that it somehow is not a threat to their continued operation.

One would think that if Google felt threatened by such a release

this earth-shaking "secret" is, they would hardly allow for

it.

However, evidence supports to the contrary - and this being the
case now for a full six (6) months.

Mysteriously, within just two (2) hours of its initial release
last
April, Google itself actually did in fact 'pause' the parent
firm's
attempts at advertising the new system using PPCs on their search
engine - only, however, to release the hold after a Review Team
consisting of some of Google's top executives completed
performing
an in-depth investigation and made the determination to ALLOW the
ads to run.

new content" and "more exhaustive instructions," and is now

The most important addition is that of a so-called "string of

webpage
and talk to visitors and explain a bit more how the mysterious
new
breakthrough system works.

Since the addition of this new "live" spokes-woman has now

at the site, company Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mr Todd
Coutrin states that "sales for the system have skyrocketed above
2,430% suddenly and with no limit in sight."

Coutrin continues: "With the newest revision now in place, plus
all
the additions added, affiliates for the new system can expect to
earn even more than ever before!" (Note: Affiliates make up the
bulk of the firm's sales generation.)

The refund rate for the new revised version of the secret (named
V5.1) has dropped to less than half of what it was before the
newer
version's release; meaning it's now even more readily-received
and
put to use than ever before (perhaps in large part to the newer
simplicity of application) - now making it the safest and one of
the best resellers for the networks of affiliate marketers who
earn
their revenues from the reselling of other electronic publishers'
stock and digital product lines.

When asked, Google company representatives stated
matter-of-factly
that the rumors of bankruptcy for the ecommerce giant are simply
not true, and that the rumor millings are in fact simply the
result
of "panics" brought on by the usual hysteria associated with
anything large, new or revolutionary - or in this case, all
three.

Attempts to contact both Sergey Brin and Larry Page, the former
Stanford University students who founded Google in 1998, to

comment were unsuccessful.

Again, Google itself seems to be the biggest supporter of the
"new
system" as it's allowing more and more advertisers to promote the
new system on its search engine before over 100 million daily
searches and surfers.

When you go away to college, you are thrown into an unfamiliar environment. Sleeping in a bed that is not your own and dealing with a new roommate you don’t know may be difficult enough, but you can’t forget about learning how to eat healthy foods while at college. Healthy eating is important so that you keep the weight off and keep your immune system healthy.

It is first important to settle into an eating routine. At home, you would probably never eat after a certain time at night—don’t at college either. If you’re used to eating breakfast, wake up before classes in enough time to do so. At the very least, be sure that you have time between classes for a balanced lunch and dinner. Don’t skip meals.

If your schedule is hectic, as most people find, you’ll need to schedule time to eat. Instead of grabbing food from a vending machine when you are hungry, plan ahead. Take a healthy salad or sandwich with you to eat if you have class over mealtime. Most professors don’t mind if you bring food to class as long as your eat it quietly.

When you do have time to eat in the cafeteria, it is important to make healthy decisions. Most colleges offer pizza and a variety of desserts every day, but that doesn’t mean you have to eat them! Look for choices that have a balance of the food groups in every meal. A good indication that you have a nutritious meal is color. If your trey is colorful, with fruits, vegetables, and proteins, you are on the right track.

Of course, not every college has a cafeteria, and even if yours does you might choose to eat elsewhere. It’s very tempting to order Chinese food or other delivery, especially when participating in study groups. Try to find the best options here and allow yourself to splurge only on special occasions. For example, if someone is ordering pizza, see if the pizzeria also offers salads. This may be a healthy option. Try to stay away from fried or greasy foods.

College is one of the best times of your life. Don’t let poor eating choices ruin the experience. You might also want to note as a closing thought that alcohol has more empty calories than most of the foods you can eat at the cafeteria combined. Staying away from it can not only keep you safe, but also healthy. Add an exercise routine at a local gym, and you’ll never see that freshman fifteen!

Fiber is mostly polysaccharides composed of glucose units, but human digestive enzymes cannot break the bonding of these units. We can think of fiber as non-starch polysaccharides. These include cellulose, hemicellulose, pectin, and some other types of fiber. That might sound like Greek to you, but fiber is an important part of our daily diet, and a high fiber diet might be perfect for your body.

Depending on their solubility in water, there are of two main types of fiber: soluble fiber and insoluble fiber. Both of these types are important for optimum health. Fiber has a number of health benefits and hence is highly recommended in daily food. Some of its health benefits are:

• It promotes the feelings of fullness and reduces energy consumption.
• It prevents constipation, hemorrhoids, and other intestinal problems.
• Fiber helps prevent bacterial infection of the appendix.
• It reduces the risk of colon cancer.
• It stimulates the muscles of the digestive tract and helps them retain their health and tone.

To keep the digestive tract healthy and prevent other disorders like hemorrhoids and intestinal problems, people normally need 20 to 35 grams of fiber daily. These can be obtained from a variety of plants, vegetables and fruits. Fibers are especially abundant in whole foods. All fruits are rich in fiber. For just 2 grams of fiber, you could eat 1 small apple, 1 peach, 1 small banana, 2 prunes, 16 large cherries, or a number of other fruits. Grains also contain fiber. For 2 grams of fiber, simply try 1 slice of whole wheat bread, 2 slices of cracked wheat bread, 1 cup of cooked oatmeal, 2 cups of popped popcorn, or ¼ of a cup of corn bran.

If you are on a low-carb diet, you can try eating cooked vegetables to provide your body with adequate fiber. For 2 grams of fiber, eat ½ of a cup of broccoli, 1 cup of celery, ½ of a cup of carrots, 1 small potato, 1 large tomato, or a variety of beans. Beans, or any type of legume, are the real powerhouses for fiber. By only eating ½ of a cup of kidney beans, 1 cup of dried peas or lentils, or ½ of a cup of canned baked beans, you can provide your body with a whopping 8 grams of fiber. If all else fails, small amounts of fiber can also be found in peanuts, walnuts, and pickles, so there is really no excuse for not getting enough fiber in your diet!

An overwhelming variety of both natural and highly processed foods is available at the market. To guide people in picking healthy food items, the US Department of Agriculture has designed the food pyramid. It is a labeled illustration, shaped like a pyramid, which demonstrates groups of essential food types and the quantity in which a normal individual requires each of these foods.

At the base of the food pyramid are such food items that serve as ready sources of energy. These are rich in starch, low in fat, and include cereals, pasta, bread, and different types of grains. By the specifications of the food pyramid, a normal adult individual needs 6 to 11 servings of these items daily. Whole grains are the best and healthiest food of this group. In a single serving of these foods you can include a slice of bread, a cup of cereal flakes, one flat tortilla, and one ounce of rice or pasta.

As the geometry of the food pyramid shows, vegetables and fruits are required in less quantity than carbohydrates. Normally, a grown person would need 3 to 5 servings of vegetables and 2 to 4 servings of fruits daily. The high fiber content of vegetables and fruits make them ideal food items as fiber keeps the bowel movements in order. In addition, they are both rich in vitamins (required for immunity and general health) and minerals, which ensure the proper functioning of various body organs. Among vegetables, go for more dark green vegetables and try to pick fresh fruits instead of fruit juices.

Next upper chamber in the food pyramid is occupied by proteins and dairy products. You need 2 to 3 servings daily of each of these foods. Protein comes from lean meat, eggs, fish, beans, and nuts. It is advisable to remove the visible fat on the meat so as to make it a low fat item. Be moderate in using nuts, since they also hold fats. Among the dairy products, milk is the complete diet with most of the required vitamins and minerals like calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium. Cheese and yogurt are also recommended dairy foods. Try to abstain from high intake of ice cream and cheese that is high in fat.

Lastly, at the top of the food pyramid lie fats, including oils, and sweets. The recommended quantity of these items is limited to sparing use. Butter, cream, oils, candies, margarines etc., are all foods that are not easy to digest and hence should be used in minimal amounts. However, it is an important part of our diet, just as all the other parts of the food pyramid are important as well.

Fad diets are a sort of diet plan or aid that aims at losing weight, usually in a relatively short time. Fad diets attract a large number of people who suffer from weight problems and are helplessly looking to some way of arriving at a shapely physique. The problem with fad diets is that their fat-reducing effect is temporary and results in quick regain of weight. What is worse is that most of these diets are harmful to health.

Fad diets are not as new as they might seem at first. These date back to the mid 19th century when an obese Londoner was prescribed such a diet on experimental basis. Now, after a century and a half, fad diets have become popular among people with weight problems. Teens and young adults especially flock to fad diets for answers to weight problems.

Fad diets are usually centered on a higher consumption of fats or proteins while stressing to go easy on or, in some cases, completely cut out carbohydrates. It is the low intake of carbohydrates that brings about rapid weight loss. In fact, this rapid loss is the loss of water that glycogen has stored. With loss of glycogen, the large amount of water stored in it is also lost and body weight drops. The fats are still there and as the fad diets are given up, the body regains its proportion of water lost. Weight is put back on as fast as it was lost.

Normally, carbohydrates remain the source of energy for work. With fad diets, the carbs are no longer there so the body starts using the stored fat, breaking it down. This may appear beneficial but in fact it is not. In the absence of carbs, fats cannot be completely oxidized and put to work. Hence, the body feels fatigued and weak. In addition, the ketone molecules resulting from the fat-breakdown accumulate in the blood and are excreted out via urine, causing dehydration.

Given the harmful health effects of fad diets, it is important for us, especially the weight-conscious people, to recognize and beware of these diet plans. Watch out for diets that:

• Promise quick weight loss
• Publicize before and after pictures
• Present weight-loss testimonials
• Tend to limit natural food choices
• Require a large sum of money

Fad diets may be popular, but they can greatly hurt your body. Be careful with any diet or exercise program and ask your doctor to be sure it is safe.

Numerous sources of information will tell you that fats are potentially harmful elements of your diet. While this is true in general, it does not imply that fats are not valuable from a nutritional point of view. In fact, fats are absolutely necessary for maintaining proper health. Fats are the chief form of energy stored in the body. During times of unavailability of food, the fats stored in the body provide energy to prevent starvation.

There is good scientific reason behind why fats, and not carbohydrates, remain the chief form of stored energy in the body. The body cannot store glycogen (the dominant form of the body's carbohydrates) in great amounts because glycogen holds a great deal of water and is very bulky. Fats, on the other hand, can be packed tightly together without water. They can store much more energy than glycogen in a small space.

Foods rich in fats are valuable in many situations. One gram of fat (or oil) provides twice as many calories as obtained from one gram of carbohydrates. People doing hard physical labor and those traveling in cold climates require ample supply of fats to provide energy in the form of heat. Fatty foods usually carry tempting aromas and flavors that cause you to eat these foods in excess, getting unneeded calories.

How do you know when to stop eating? Well, there are certain fats in the food that slow digestion and give the brain a signal to stop eating. That is why fatty foods give a fuller feeling of satisfaction.

The vital organs of the body are surrounded by and cushioned in fat pads that function as shock absorbers. Also, the layer of fat beneath the skin prevents the body from extremes of temperature conditions. Fats also dissolve some essential nutrients like vitamins A, D, E, and K.

Without some fat in our diet, we cannot survive. The fear of eating too much fat and gaining weight is often associated with anorexia and other eating disorders, but fat, in moderate amounts, is actually healthy for your body. Look for fats that are good for your body, such as those found in olive oil, and reduce the fats that are bad for your body, such as the ones found in fast food.

Remember to eat a small amount of good fats every day so that you can maintain good health.

Making a stroke survivor laugh is important so that they can see that they still have life ahead of them and that they are going to make it through the bad times and have many more good times ahead of them. Making sure that the person knows that they can still go out and enjoy life is very important.

Women defiantly have a greater risk for hemorrhagic strokes occurring than in men. It is not really understood why this is so, however researchers are doing more and more studies on the facts to find out just what is going on.

No matter what your age or gender you have to find out what you can do to lower your risk for stroke. Eating and exercising are the two biggest things that you can change to get the risk lowered. However, drinking and doing drugs is going to be something else that can cause men and women to have stroke.
